Editorial Policy

Advances in Plant Science and Environment (APSE) is committed to publishing cutting-edge research in the fields of plant science and the environment.

Manuscripts submitted to APSE must be original and must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere for consideration. This applies to any manuscripts under review with other journals while being considered by APSE.

APSE does not require authors to transfer copyright to the journal. Authors who publish with APSE retain the copyright to their work. This allows for the free reuse and redistribution of their articles, provided the original authorship and source are correctly acknowledged. Authors are responsible for the content, accuracy, and originality of their work.

APSE adheres to the principles outlined in the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

All articles published in APSE are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). This license allows for unrestricted sharing (copying, distribution, and transmission) and adaptation (including for commercial purposes) of the work, as long as proper attribution is given to the author and the original source.

Manuscripts submitted to APSE undergo peer review by at least two experts in the field. The editorial board has the final authority on reviewer selection.

APSE is published three times annually. However, as an online journal, we also publish urgent or highly relevant research articles more frequently as supplements, as needed or requested by the editorial board and readers.

APSE does not assume responsibility for the content of published articles. Responsibility for the accuracy and opinions expressed in the articles rests solely with the authors. APSE may not necessarily agree with the views presented in the articles, either in part or in full.
